Corsair 5000D Airflow Review

Corsair is a company that continues to evolve and offers a complete PC ecosystem. While RGB, tempered glass and airflow are all included in their design choices, they offer a wide range of cases. Their products include budget, mid-range, and enthusiast options. Today I will be reviewing a new case, the Corsair 5000D Airflow, and doing a system build guide. The 5000D is a step up from the previous 4000 series. 

The 5000D is a mid-tower case designed to keep your build clean while maintaining the best possible airflow. It offers a wide range of configuration options and room for multiple push/pull 360mm radiators. I’ve had the pleasure of building in quite a few cases over the years. Let’s see if the 5000D can maximize cooling potential and what it has to offer.

The packaging is pretty standard but is secured inside with two thick pieces of foam inserts. There were no issues with signs of damage or dings. The box is massive, take caution when trying to remove the case from the packaging and be aware of the tempered glass side panel.

We will be building inside the 5000D with additional parts that are NOT included with the product.

This case offers different configurations depending on your build style. Each panel can be removed for easy access. This is going to be ideal for buyers who want to ultimately configure their system to fit a multitude of products. Personally, this case is the right fit for my EVGA Z390 Dark motherboard because of its E-ATX standard.
